OBJECTIVE / CONTEXT

EA SPORTS was invited to appear in Nintendo’s brand showcase (Nintendo Direct) announcing the impending arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2. We were given a brief brand segment to announce EA SPORTS FC 26 and Madden NFL 26 coming to the platform — introducing our two biggest franchises to a new, younger audience inside a crowded reveal show.

The brief: deliver a premium, unmistakably EA SPORTS moment that cuts through the noise, unifies FC and Madden under one promise, and travels cleanly across broadcast and social.

CONCEPT: OWN THE ACTION

EA SPORTS does what no one else can: puts you at the center of the action with your favorite clubs and superstars.

We express that unique brand offering through a logo-anchored that communicates clear brand ownership, before handing off cleanly to our 2 primary franchise brand marks.

The result: A simple, impactful message that sets the stage for what’s to come.

EXECUTION

We led with the EA SPORTS medallion to clearly communicate brand ownership, before pivoting to an action-driven animation grounded in American football and global football (soccer), anchored by their shared texture: green turf.

We then transitioned to a dual-title reveal — FC 26 and Madden NFL 26 — sequenced for instant recognition, before ending on our alternate wordmark (“It’s In The Game”) sequenced to sync perfectly with our timeless and iconic audio signature.
